Service and Class Info

Sunday School - 9:30am

During our Sunday School hour, we offer age-graded classes from nursery to preschool through high school as well as options for adults. We have young adult and senior classes. All our classes rotate topics about once a quarter, or every 13 weeks, ranging from theology, to a book of the Bible, to practical Christian living. A greeter will provide you with information on our classes and their locations on your arrival, or you can contact us for more information.

Sunday Worship - 10:45am

During our worship time together, we currently have about 75 people in attendance. We always strive to be welcoming and hospitable to all who attend. We come from many walks of life, range in age from newborn to 90s, and are bound together by our common need for and love of the Savior. There is no need to worry about what to wear. We believe strongly that families are meant to worship together and children learn by being a part of our services. We welcome children of all ages in our services - and aren’t worried about a little noise! We do understand how difficult it can be to corral newborns and infants for an entire service, so we do offer nursery services for those ages, as needed.

During our service you will find a blended style of music. We worship in song using both piano-accompanied and guitar-accompanied hymns and choruses. We love all songs, no matter the age or style, that are theologically rich and increase our worship of God. A song’s age, whether old or new, does not give it inherent value. We are much more concerned with the truth and depth that it communicates of God, and its “singability” by the congregation. Congregational singing is one of the greatest gifts given to the church and we believe that all our music should be carried out with the intent of having all in attendance sing with all their hearts, souls, and might!

We place a heavy emphasis on expositional preaching, and the vast majority of our sermons will be expositional in nature. This means we generally will start a book in the Bible and have multiple sermons in a series, working through the text until the book is complete. We will occasionally take an aside and have a topical sermon, but that is the exception, not the rule. These sermons are usually in the neighborhood of 45 minutes in length, and will work to unfold or exposit the text, show how it fits into the grand narrative of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and hopefully draw all our hearts into a greater worship of God. After the sermon, we will always close in song, and offer a period of time for all to respond to the Word of God. This may look like quiet reflection, singing loudly, or seeking out special prayer. Our elders are honored to be available to pray, talk, or answer questions about what has been communicated in the service.

After the service, you’ll find that our people usually stay around and visit a while. We truly love and see each other as brothers and sisters in Christ - and we love living life together! We’d love it if you also wanted to visit and get to know us a little more.

Wednesdays - 7:00pm

Our Wednesday services are more casual. Our adults all gather together for Bible study, sometimes in the context of a video or book study, and spend time in prayer. We have age-graded Bible study classes for our kids and youth. Throughout the school year (after Labor Day until first of May), we gather on the first and third Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm for dinner together before our services.
